You are invited to a unique opportunity...
The Somerset County 4-H Market Lamb Sale. This sale offers lambs raised and fed by 4-H Youth. The Market Lamb project teaches 4-Hers the entire process of raising an animal in a healthy and ethical manner. Along the way, they learn the best ways to feed and care for their animals.
Feeding a lamb is not only a business venture, but a personal one as well. Each 4-Her dedicates a great deal of effort into raising their animal. They must provide daily care and keep detailed records of their project. They must produce a a quality meat animal, that meets grading standards. and hopefully returns a profit.
